you go down the Giudecca canal, skirting the island with the same name, past the church of Redentore and the island of San Giorgio to come alongside at San Marco. Forty minutes to spend in one of the world's most famous squares, its trapezoid shape dominated by the fa?ade of the San Marco Basilica with its mosaic inlays and Gothic inventions. Enclosed by a sequence of loggias and the arcades with their underlying porticoes, the space stretches from the clock tower and the Procuratie Vecchie to the Neoclassical Ala Nuovissima, to end at the bell tower marking the passage to Piazzetta di Palazzo Ducale.

on the ancient Amurianum known since 982 in medieval times for its refined glass art which inherits and evolves the Arab and Byzantine tradition. From the past to the present, its prestige has been entrusted to the element most similar to water and of which only inhabitants of water could fully grasp the extreme, fluid ductility.
By visiting one of the numerous glassworks, you can witness the fascinating process of glass working, observing the skill and fantasy with which the glass is blown, modelled and transformed into objects which are unique, because entirely hand made.

situated eight kilometres from Venice in a north easterly direction with its characteristic silhouette of cypress trees. At the centre of the island, a curtain of green almost completely hides the monastery which, together with its bell tower, is the only building midst cultivated fields, smallholdings and gardens. A place where the subdued light, scents and sounds recount a Franciscan spirituality, harmony with nature and its creatures and work religiously following the rhythms of the seasons.
