This itinerary in the south part of the Venice lagoon enables you to enter the two WWF protected areas of Alberoni and Pellestrina (Caroman) and see them from nearby. The circuit is proposed with environmentally friendly boats in total respect of the surrounding nature.
The departure may be from Tronchetto, but can be agreed each time according to the needs of the group.
Departing from Tronchetto, you skirt the island of San Clemente, site of a four star hotel also used for conventions and conferences, and Poveglia, to arrive at and skirt the full length of the Lido coast. Arrival at Alberoni follows a trip lasting an hour skirting and seeing the WWF natural protected area.
The trip continues to the island of Pellestrina, famous for its fish and coloured houses, where there will be a stopover for free visits and lunch (not included).
Proceeding towards the island of Caroman, you can then take a short walk in the WWF oasis as far as the jetty of the port of Chioggia.
The return to Tronchetto follows a trip lasting about an hour and a half along the whole length of the south Venice lagoon. |
